Empowering the Next Generation of Digital Water Professionals

As part of the EU-funded WATERLINE project, DEU conducted an immersive virtual reality (VR) workshop at a primary school to introduce students to the fundamentals of water systems and digital water technologies. Through an engaging VR experience, students gained firsthand insight into how water is transported, treated, and managed within urban infrastructures.

This initiative aligns with WATERLINE’s mission to foster water literacy and promote interdisciplinary, technology-driven learning pathways from an early age. By combining STEM education with interactive tools, we aim to inspire future leaders in sustainable water management. Building a sustainable future requires early investment in both digital competencies and environmental awareness.
