We are thrilled to share the results of our Phase 1 user testing for the DEU-DESUM Dam Break VR application, conducted by experts from the University of Exeter's Centre for Water Systems. This innovative VR app, part of the WATERLINE project, aims to revolutionise water-related education by providing immersive, hands-on learning experiences.

Our testers praised the app's engaging format, realistic visuals, and dynamic animations that vividly demonstrate the impact of dam breaks. The ability to explore different perspectives and control the timeline of animations proved invaluable for understanding flood progression.

While there's always room for improvement, the constructive feedback we received will help DEU-DESUM make the app even better. Suggestions include adding voice-over narration, interactive features, and clearer instructions to enhance the overall user experience.
