Daniela D'Agostino, hydraulic engineer, is a post-doctoral researcher on soil conservation and hydrogeological risk mitigation, at the Department of AGRARIA of the "Mediterranea" University of Reggio Calabria (UNIRC). She obtained her Ph.D. in Forestry and Environmental Sciences in 2021, focusing its research activities on evaluation of the effectiveness of slope stabilization measures (Nature-based Solution) on the resilience and self-regeneration of forest ecosystems affected by extreme events.
As a post-doctoral researcher at UNIRC, she had the opportunity to participate in two summer schools (in Exeter, UK, and Ås, Norway) organised in the framework of the WATERLINE project, and thanks to the numerous training activities, he is increasing his skills in the field of smart and digital water.
