🌟 Researcher Spotlight: Agnieszka Cuprys 🌟

Meet Agnieszka Cuprys, an environmental biotechnologist who is a part of Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) team. Her scientific journey started at Gdansk University of Technology, where she specialised in pharmaceutical biotechnology. Agnieszka’s work now focuses on improving wastewater treatment to remove these pharmaceuticals (and other micropollution) from our waters. Beyond her research, she loves communicating science to the public.

Agnieszka is one of the contributors to the Waterline, focusing on sharing knowledge and development within the project. She ensures the outcomes are communicated effectively and embedded in future research. Agnieszka feels inspired by the novel technologies Waterline uses in education, such as VR, which makes learning more immersive and impactful.
